The short version: your studies live on your phone and in your own iCloud — we cannot see them. No accounts, no ads, no selling data. What you type into the tools is sent to our server only to generate the answer.

What stays with you

Your studies, weaves, notes, highlights, Symbol conversations, Mirror self-examinations, lenses and support contacts are stored on your device and synced through your private iCloud (CloudKit). That database belongs to you under your Apple account: we have no access to it. You are the custodian of your study.

What travels to our server

To answer you, the app sends our server what each request needs: the text you search, the reflection you type into a tool, the identifiers of the verses you study, or the photo of a paper study when you use the scanner. It is processed to serve the answer, and it is not used to build profiles.

Generative features are processed with an AI provider (Anthropic). That content is not used to train their models.

The install identifier

The app generates one random identifier per install, with no link to your name, email, or any account. It exists only to meter AI usage and enforce cost caps. It does not identify who you are.

What we do not do

Voice and camera

Dictation uses Apple's system speech recognition. The camera is used only when you scan a paper study, and the photo is processed to rebuild it — it is not retained after serving the answer.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes local data; your private iCloud data is managed from your Apple account (Settings → iCloud). For any request about data on our server, write to us and we will resolve it.
